What is Bungujoshi?

Bungujoshi (also known as “Bungu Joshi Haku” or the Stationery Girls’ Expo) is Japan’s biggest stationery festival. It focuses entirely on stationery such as notebooks, pens, washi tapes, stickers, journals, planners, and craft supplies. Many brands, designers, and small creators gather in one place, letting visitors see, try, and buy a huge range of items. including new releases, exclusive items, limited editions, and special collaboration products.

Bungujoshi 2025's Theme

The official theme for 2025 is 「今日、どれにする？文具コーデ」, which means “Today, which stationery coordination will you choose?” in English. The idea is to treat stationery like fashion, such as choosing a pen, notebook, planner, or stickers each day to match your mood or style, and “coordinating” your stationery the same way you coordinate clothing or accessories.

What does “Bungujoshi Exclusive / Event-Exclusive / Pre-Sale” Items Mean?

  • Bungujoshi Exclusive

    Items created specifically for the Bungujoshi event and not sold elsewhere. These are perfect for collectors or anyone looking for unique, limited items.

  • Event-Exclusive

    Items sold only at stationery and craft events, but not limited to Bungujoshi. They may also appear at other events such as Kamihaku.

  • Pre-Sale

    New products that are sold at Bungujoshi before their general release. This gives attendees early access to upcoming items.

  • Normal Items

    Regular release products. Some may be difficult to find or hard to import to Australia, so we offer pre-orders to secure them for customers.
